Sue Ciccone

Nature is the core of Sue Ciccone’s inspiration. Her work is an emotional and direct response to Creation and how we as humans relate to the world around us. Whether it is the beauty of a landscape or the innocence of a creature, almost every subject Sue paints is the result of her life's experience in some way.

It is Sue’s desire that people feel a connection to her subject and that they experience joy, peace, and contentment through her art.

All these things, along with Sue’s my deep love of nature, are what inspire her to paint day after day.

Rachel Altschuler

For as long as Rachel Altschuler can remember she has been able to find solace in nature. It is, and continues to be, the biggest inspiration in her life and her work as an artist. After graduating from Coastal Carolina University with a B.F.A in Art Studio, and an M.A in Art Education Rachel taught art at Villa Maria Academy High School in Malvern, Pennsylvania. After five years, she left to pursue her career as a full time artist. Since then, Rachel has devoted her time and energy to her art.

Rachel has always been fascinated by the unique energy and spirit of birds. Over the years, they have become one of her favorite subjects to paint. Every type of bird has its own set of personality traits, which she tries to bring out by painting them in portrait style, and by paying special attention to detail in the eyes. The fun part for Rachel is watching their personalities come to life with each brush stroke.
